Historic F1
The purpose of this section of f1ezine.com is to introduce historic Formula One from more than one angle. As part of our readership we hope you will find it of interest and informative as to how the drivers' careers developed or ended.
The first Formula One World Championship was won by Italian Giuseppe Farina in his Alfa Romeo in 1950, barely defeating his Argentine teammate Juan Manuel Fangio.
On The Grid is an exclusive reference project of historic information from the world of Formula One. On The Grid chronicles the history of drivers with all Formula One teams dating back to 1950 to the present.
This reference project (On The Grid) is only possible due to the hard work and support of Clive Branson.
