The ING Renault F1 Team is pleased to announce the beginning of a technical partnership with Hewlett-Packard.

“We are very pleased to have HP reinforce our portfolio of technical partners,” commented Managing Director Flavio Briatore. “The importance of IT in Formula 1 is well known and we strive to ensure our needs in this area are covered by the most prestigious and reliable companies in the world.”

Head of IS-IT for the ING Renault F1 Team, Guillaume Jacquemin, added: “Reliability and performance of our IT systems is mission critical in all aspects of Grand Prix racing from design, R&D and manufacturing to the performance of our race car itself. The signature of this partnership with Hewlett-Packard is therefore an important step to help us maintain the top level of competitiveness.”

Olivier Gillet, Marketing Director of HP France added: “The quality and reliability of the systems and solutions we have supplied to the team will help them improve their performance on the track.”

HP equipment supplied as part of this agreement will range from PCs, printers and workstations to Windows and Linux servers for both the Team’s Technical Centre and the Race Team.
